I've been doing weekly units with Ava. Last week we did "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". She loves the book and here's just two of the many crafts and activities we did:)

I've finally begun to get back into sewing and my blog. It seems I've slacked a little the past 9 months! Since my last post a lot has happened. We rented our villa out. We moved into a much much larger house!!!! We got pregnant!!!! Nicks job is going great, we took a fun family vacation to Destin and are just enjoying every moment together. Much more good things are in store for us and with lots of praying we should have our answer soon!! So stay tuned for how this ends up :) God has already answered so many of my prayers as we moved from the villa and got pregnant :) I am truly so blessed! Now back to my crafts..... Washcloth Lollipops and Sundae's!

What better gift to give to a mommy to be than these ADORABLE lolipops and sundae's! How boring is it to just wrap bibs, spoons, bibs and bowls in a gift bag and watch the Mommy's so not excited face open them! Well, not anymore!!!! When you give her these you will be the TALK of the shower and everyone will just LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea!

GREEN Snack Bags!

Not sure about you, but I hate to do dishes. I ran across these snack bags that are eco-friendly and I could not believe I never saw them before. After seeing how much the lady wanted for them I knew I could make this myself....and I did! They are machine washable and waterproof!!! Can't wait to try them out this week.
I am going to try to sell them this weekend, so let me know if you want one.

More Holiday Onesie's!

Now who would NOT want to wake up on Xmas morning and see their little on in this "present" under the tree?!?!

Ava and her Cousin's will all be matching this weekend for a family photo. The girls will wear this and I am working on the boys....they will have ties sewn onto their shirts! The fabric is witch hats, so they all will match!!! Can't wait to see all 6 of them in their outfits!!!  I just need to embroider A's name onto the shirt and this one is done!

I am debating if I should sell this tomorrow at this craft fair OR keep it for baby A....hmmm. If I keep it I am going to put her name on it.
At any rate, I think it came out adorable! Just add a cute little tutu to it and it is perfect!

Maderia Beach, FL Oct 2001

Now that we are back, I am uploading a few photo's from our fabulous trip we took to the Maderia Beach, FL.

A, just LOVED the beach and she was amazing the whole time. Our day consisted of goint to get breakfast in the morning and then coming back to the condo to hit the beach by 10 AM. We would play for about a hour and A would take 1 1/2 hour nap on the beach in her SPF tent we have. She would wake up from her nap and we would eat lunch on the beach. Then around 4 we would head back inside and she would take another nap. She was FABULOUS!

And she was really good on the plane too. The only issue we had was Ava running back OUT through the security check point when I was getting the items off the belt. She ran to Nick, who was on the other side of the security line....LOL It is pretty funny now than it was that day! ha ha\

FINALLY! I bought a machine and the software to be able to embroider :) Ava will now have many more personalized shirts!!! This is what I did first tonight!!
